Mike Huling has significant experience in the education and publishing industry. During an 11-year tenure with Varsity Group, LLC (formerly VarsityBooks.com), where he rose from Operations Manager to Vice President of Operations, Mike worked closely with suppliers across the education spectrum while providing ecommerce solutions to a wide range of K-12 institutions. He brings an engineer’s analytical mind to the table and a talent for cultivating beneficial alliances between schools and vendors.

For the past seven years, Jonathan has been honing his marketing and public relations skills in the travel industry, first at the American Society of Travel Agents, and more recently at Vacation.com, North America’s largest travel marketing organization. He also writes for various magazines and social media sites on subjects ranging from insurance to vegetarianism.

He brings a passion for emerging technologies and social media to DEG, keeping a sharp eye out for the trends and products teachers could one day be implementing in their classrooms. He believes in the DEG philosophy--that technology will play a central role in keeping students engaged--but only if it can compete with, and sometimes piggyback on, today's gaming systems and smartphones.

Before Stone Ridge, Rachel was a Senior Account Manager at VarsityBooks.com, an online textbook provider, where she worked closely with school administrators throughout the country.
